Identification:
The house mouse ranges in size from 5-½ to 7 inches in length (including the tail). The color of their fur ranges from gray, brown, or black in color and they have a light tan color on the belly. Their large ears and long tail are covered in a light layer of soft fur and have tiny dark colored eyes.
Habitat:
Mice have adapted well to living in our home, or at least near our homes. It’s not uncommon especially during the colder months to have found you have an uninvited guest living somewhere in your home. Inside they could be found in the garage, pantry, in closets, crawl spaces, attics and even inside the walls of the home.
