Identification:
Wolf Spiders can grow up to 35 mm in body length and their bodies are commonly patterned in black, gray and brown hues.
Venom:
A Wolf Spiders bite is poisonous but not lethal. They are considered non-aggressive although they bite freely if provoked and should be considered dangerous to humans. The bite may be very painful.
Habitat:
Wolf spiders do not spin webs, instead they have burrows. The burrows may have an open entry or they may have soft silken doors.
