Identification:

Deer mice are brown in color with white feet and white underbelly. Their size can range from 5 to 8 inches long.

Venom:

Non-Venomous but deer mice are of medical concern because they are common carriers of Hantavirus.

Habitat:

These rodents rarely invade residential home but if they do its will likely be during winter months. Deer mice can be a problem in farms, vacation/vacant homes, outbuildings and sheds. Deer mice are of medical concern because they are common carriers of Hantavirus.
